See why Vandalia Rental chose InTempo MX as their Connected Assets Solution

At InTempo Software, we don’t want to build rental management software that sounds great on paper. We want to build solutions that actually solve the challenges our customers face day in and day out.

That’s why we’re such strong believers in customer-led development.

When we first decided to bring a Connected Assets solution to the independent equipment rental industry, we sought the input of our existing customers, asking about the areas where their existing approach to telematics was falling short. Some of the feedback we heard:

From there, our development team worked hand-in-hand with our customers to develop a Connected Assets platform that solved these challenges.

The end result? A platform that doesn’t just deliver the next generation of equipment telematics, but that does so in a way that’s incredibly intuitive for the end user.

Here’s what Harold Goings, Director of Technology for Vandalia Rental, had to say about the customer-led development experience:

“Driving the product development from a user perspective with InTempo MX has been crucial.

I have an IT background, but also an extensive operations background. Putting those two together makes a well-baked cake, if you will. Having that end user perspective is crucial in developing these products.

Building relationships with InTempo and LHP Telematics as a team has been crucial. They listen and developed a product with real-life rental industry standards. Once again, it's not that they're developing what they think's right; they're developing what we need. It's a tool, not a task.

[And when it comes to] response time and resolution? This is a true story when it comes to InTempo MX: if you have a problem, I could send an email and have a reply in two minutes. I'm not kidding you; that's something we're not used to. It feels like an extension of our internal team; I know they're there when I need them.

We move fast, and to be honest with you, we don't have time to wait. At least from my chair, we want to move forward.

It’s been very important that everything they've said they were going to do and set out to do, they've done. It's a big deal.

I've used other telematics platforms, and the relationship was one of the biggest keys to my decision. From where we started to where we are today is phenomenal; I'm not just saying that. It’s not a sales pitch, it's a true story. I'm excited to see where it goes.
