Introducing New Features for InTempo’s Rental Software (Summer 2023)

This June, we’ll be introducing several exciting new enhancements for our rental software. Customers on the InTempo Enterprise rental ERP will be able to:

Remove EPA and ENV Fees for Specific Customers

Get more flexibility over which customers are charged EPA and Environmental fees (and in which situations). Use the customer master maintenance level to specify these charges on new rental contracts, work orders, and sales orders.

Require Fuel Surcharges During Specific Processes

Make sure you’re collecting fuel surcharges every time they’re applicable. These ancillary fees are now required in the following programs:

• Rental Quotes/Reservations
• Rental Out
• Rental Exchange
• Cycle Billing
• Demand Billing
• Rental Return
• Rental Credit Memos
• Earned not Billed 2
• Print
• Contract Inventory

Add Notes to Linked Opportunities

Add notes once to an opportunity file header; from there, they’ll be displayed on the Create Rental Reservation/Quote screen for the corresponding customer. This keeps your entire team up to date on customer-specific requests, such as delivery requirements or jobsite notes.

Auto-Post to Their General Ledger when Cycle Counts are Posted

Save time during cycle counts by automatically posting newly created journal entries to your General Ledger.

Add Filter Bars to the Top of the Equipment Inquiry Reservation Screen

Drill down by more data points - including start date, estimated return date, and location - for more visibility into your fleet.

Allow Non-Inventoried Parts to Create Requisitions

Speed up your requisition process when your service team adds a non-inventoried part to a work order (or when your sales team adds one to a sales order). Turn on automatic requisitions to have your system prompt you for requisitions in these situations. 

Other Updates

This release also includes new options for:

• Validating IBAN numbers
• Rebuilding Equipment Due for Service files
• Adding additional GPS devices to your rental equipment
• Adding analysis regions to pickup ticket inquiries
• Printing into your data queue when in OAR mode
